What is ITS?
- College department responsible for technology
- 9 full-time employees and several student workers
- Over 750 College-owned PCs and associated software packages (including Windows Vista, Office 2007, Acrobat, and many others)
- 2 major computer labs, several academic department labs, and labs in each resident hall for a total of over 200 student-accessible PCs
- A growing wireless network that's accessible in many buildings and some green spaces
- High-speed Internet connection with a connection to the statewide I-Light network coming
- Access to e-mail from anywhere by using Microsoft Outlook or a web-based client
- Network storage for each student, faculty, and staff member
- "ResNet" Internet connectivity for all residence hall occupants
- Academic and administrative systems like ANGEL, Colleague, and Raiser's Edge
- Campus-wide phone service including a port per residence hall room with Single Number Reach, a new system that allows students to keep their phone number throughout their stay in the residence halls regardless of the room in which they live
- Our very own 114-channel cable TV system including HBO
